From the CAS advanced search page, https://www.talkbass.com/search/?type=cas_ad

Select "closed ads" and keyword "fender" (there should be thousands).

Result is "0 results".

Selecting "Open", "Sold", "Expired" all yield results as expected.

If I filter from our CAS homepage (we have Addonlabs' filter framework installed), I can FILTER for closed Fender ads, and get thousands of results.

Have you tested with that Disabled? I understand that its a live site, so maybe when traffic is low, you can disable it and test it to see if its an Enhanced Search conflict.
