Hi Bob,

Not sure about this, it might be a bug on update.
When i post an article and include a prefix i get a display error " ams_article_prefix_desc.2 "

Can you explain which XF and AMS version you're using?

The phrase ams_article_prefix_desc.2 doesn't exist in the AMS 2.2 Beta 2.

Wait.. Did you check your prefixes and the description?

It seems to be an style/template issue maybe. Did you check the default template?

Did you make an Upgrade from AMS 2.1.4 ??
Maybe an edit and save resolved the problem.

There is a Core XF Function that is run during the upgrade process that creates 2 new phrases for each prefix. Its a Core XF function, not something I wrote. Its the same function that XF used to create the new phrases for Thread Prefixes and what the XFRM uses to create the new phrases for Resource Prefixes.

I've seen a couple people that for what ever reason the core XF process didn't create some of the new description and help phrases for an existing prefix. I've reported it to XF and have not header back yet. I've done dozens of upgrades and not had the issue yet, so its not a bug that is common and effecting everyone and those can be really hard to track down.

Anyway, its something that I am already aware of as its happened to a couple people (not just with AMS, but Thread prefixes and Resource Prefixes as well).

Lovely no drama, thank you for the information :)
