Answered Re-order, hide or disable ad types

I'm using CAS specifically for vehicle / parts type sales, so some of the ad types are irrelevant. In some cases, I've simply renamed them to a relevant phrase (Ie: BaT or Craigslist) but I have at least one that won't be used at all (for loan) and it falls "oddly" within the ad type structure. I was initially going to phrase-switch "for loan" and "wanted" but realized that "wanted" ties into other settings within the CAS system (Ie: no image required)

Wondering if there is an easy means of re-ordering these, or removing that one entirely.

Each category has an Allowed ad types setting. Simply edit your categories and uncheck the ad types that you don't want to use for that category. For the most part, this should do the trick for you

well, that's too easy....


er, wait....that solves the process during creation of each category (which I was doing).... my question, is it possible to hide them in Classifieds Search if they aren't used at all? IE: there will be zero instances of "for loan"...but it's still present as a search option....
