Hi Bob,
I installed the latest version of IMS today in order to make a custom importer for a client. The installation initially failed due to an error:
src/addons/XenAddons/IMS/Install/Data/MySql.php
Line 41 of the code is missing an ending semi-colon. I added and the installation proceeded smoothly.
