I won't be developing a stand alone version of Survivor for XF2. Instead, I've added a new Pool Type into Pickem called "Survivor" which lets you create Survivor Pools (and they work the same was as Survivor Pools did in the stand alone version).
I'm trying to envision the landing page
Pickem 2.0 is a lot different than Pickem 1.x. For example, the Pickem Index (main landing page) is now a paginated and filterable listing of all Pools in the system (much like a thread list in a forum). Clicking on the Pool title will take you to the Pool (which internal redirects will take the viewing user to the current week that is in progress).
Here I've applied a couple filters so that I can find all of the Open Survivor Pools.
Here is an example of what a specific week (this is week 2) of a Survivor Pool looks like. The navigation lets you move between specific weeks, an Eliminated page that lists (in order) players that have been eliminated and a comments area. There is also a dedicated area for managing your picks. You can also switch between any ACTIVE pools that you are participating in via the switch pool feature.
All other pickem pool types look something like this. Each week has its own page, there is also an overall standings page, comments area as well as an area to manage your picks.
Once the games have been scored, you are able to see the choices that other players made via clicking on the Correct picks: X out of X link for a given participant.
Bob. If the link goes to 'week one' and they aren't currently logged in, there's a way to "Login in through Facebook, Twitter, etc. much like XF2, correct?
Yes, the XenForo Login.
On a related note is there a demo?.
Yes, however, it won't be interactive and it will be view only. I don't have the time to run an ongoing LIVE demo on a daily basis. Screen shots and viewing as a guess should be enough.
I ask that thinking the interface won't change that much from your XF1 version.
The Pickem 2.0 interface is A LOT different than Pickem 1.x (for the better).
