Its doable in RMS 2.2.12 with the new "Stores" Item Type. You can associate as many brands to a store as you want, so if the store is Motorhome Part Store, you can as as many Brands of parts as you want.

And of course, a Brand can be associated with more than one Store (and can be associated with other Item Types).

Keep in mind, if you have an existing RMS Item that is a standard item and that is the "Shop", you are first going to have to convert that item to the Item Type "Store". Then you will be able to associate multiple brands to the item

Also, not sure if you know or not, but Brand Pages have a "Stores" tab, that list all of the stores that carry that brand

No, RMS is the only addon of mine that has "Brands" (which is an Item Type).

IMS's could have Item Types in the future and Item Type "Brand" could be one of those Item Types.

LD's architecture is much different than RMS/IMS, so it would not be possible to develop an Item Type System in LD without basically re-writing the addon.

No, RMS 2.2.x is for XF 2.2.x. The only XF dependency for RMS 2.2.12 is XF 2.2.2 minimum (XF 2.2.13 recommended).

Any releases for XF 2.3.x would be RMS 2.3.x
