Stock Trader 1.0.0 Beta4 now available

    Stock Trader 1.0.0 Beta4 now available in the customer account area for licensed owners.

    Please make sure you read the UPGRADE DOC and follow the steps.

    Beta4 fixes an issue with certain stocks not expanding when clicking on the Title.

    New in Beta4 is the ability to chose which countries you wish to use. Simply select 1 or more countries and users are able to purchase and sell stocks from exchanges within those countries. Currently supported countries include the US, the UK and Germany (more coming soon). There is also an unsupported "ALL Exchanges" option that gives users access to every single stock within the Yahoo! Financials Database. This however is NOT supported, so you that option at your own risk.

    You will also notice that there are some new commission options. These are NOT functional at the moment. They will be functional in the next scheduled release (along with min share price functionality).

    Next release will include a few more countries along with the commission and min share price functionality.

    I currently have just the UK stock exchange enabled on mine, and I don't seem to be able to find any companies using the "Lookup Symbol" button. I have the UK exchange enabled in options, and I've changed a few symbols against the UK stock exchange pages, but no joy... it doesn't find them.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Make sure you are entering the exact YAHOO formatted Stock Symbol... ie, all London Exchange synbols are xxxxx.L ie. AAL.L

    also, the new Autocomplete functionality is finished and will be in the next version making it easier for people to look up companies and get their symbol.

    Wonderful - I'd neglected the ".L".

    The autocomplete is a great idea.
