is stock trader available for sale?

    I think Bob mentioned earlier this week that he's stopped selling the addon due to the flakiness of the Yahoo API (my words, not his :))

    The Yahoo Finance API's are not supported (and have not been supported for several years now). They are still available for USE, but they clearly state that they are unsupported, use at your own risk. They've also stated that the API's could be shut down at any time without notice. For the past 2 years, the API's have been rather unstable and when they become unstable, I stop NEW Sales as there is nothing I can do to fix the issue on YAHOO'S end. I don't feel right selling an addon knowing that the API is unstable and having serious issues that effect 90% of the addon (since its completely driven by the API).

    The other reason I am currently not selling it is because people CAN NOT get it through their head's that Stock Trader is a low level GAME (a form of entertainment for your Forum). I keep getting Financial Guru's thinking that they are paying $39 for a Professional Day Trader Software (which is not even remotely what Stock Trader is).

    Im open to selling a license to anyone that is looking purely for some entertainment for their members. Anyone expecting anything above that, I won't sell a license to.
