Not Planned Duplicate pool

It's not a biggie but it would be nice to be able to set up one pool and duplicate it if needed.

Example: I plan on having a NFL pool which uses the spread and another without. I'm having to enter everything twice when, if it were possible, I'd prefer to do it one and dupe for the other (adjusting the type after).

I MIGHT be able to come up with something, but I can't and won't make any promises.

Don't make me any promises and you won't have to tell me no lies. ;)

Seriously, it's just about saving some time if it's something which can be done easily.

Ya, understandable... its not easy, but I am looking into a completely different backend architecture that will make it so you won't have to duplicate anything. Basically, it will be removing the "Weeks" and "Games" management from "Pools" and making that a singular seasonal "Sport" management process...

    Sport >> Season >> Week >> Game

Sport Management will consist of Team & Season Management

Season Management will consist of Week & Game Management

Take the NFL for example. You would create a season [2013 Regular Season]. You create the 17 weeks for that season. You add the games for each week. When the game(s) are complete, you score them.

Now, for the POOL side. You create a pool, make it a regular pool and choose a Data Source (Data Source = a Season from a Sport). You can then create another pool and make it a SPREAD pool and use the same data source [2013 Regular Season].

When you update the game score via Sport >> Season >> Week >> Game, it effects any pools that are using that data source.

Now you can have unlimited NLF Pools for a season with minimal administration.

NOTE: This is NOT under development, its just me typing out loud lol

This is not necessary anymore as Pickem 1.4.0 has SEASON management which allows multiple pools to use the same season.
