    You can manually add a showcase count to the post bit if you are running Showcase 1.3.0 Beta 1 or greater by editing the message_user_info template and adding a small chunk of code to it.

    Edit Template: message_user_info

    Add the following block of code to where you would like it to display
    HTML:
                    <xen:if is="{$user.showcase_count}">
                        <dl class="pairsJustified">
                            <dt>Showcase Items:</dt>
                            <dd><a href="{xen:link 'showcase/member', $user}" class="concealed">{$user.showcase_count}</a></dd>
                        </dl>
                    </xen:if>

    Use this ALTERNATE Block if you do not want the number linked to the members Showcase Page
    HTML:
                    <xen:if is="{$user.showcase_count}">
                        <dl class="pairsJustified">
                            <dt>Showcase Items:</dt>
                            <dd>{$user.showcase_count}</dd>
                        </dl>
                    </xen:if>

    You can also replace this line of code in the above blocks with the text you want to diplay
    HTML:
    <dt>Showcase Items:</dt>

    In your case, since you mentioned wanting it under location, simply add one of the above blocks of code directly after this block of code..
    HTML:
                    <xen:if is="@messageShowLocation AND {$user.location}">
                        <dl class="pairsJustified">
                            <dt>{xen:phrase location}:</dt>
                            <dd><a href="{xen:link 'misc/location-info', '', 'location={xen:string censor, $user.location, '-'}'}" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" itemprop="address" class="concealed">{xen:string censor, $user.location}</a></dd>
                        </dl>
                    </xen:if>

    Another example of what you can do...

    with the concealed class and to the right (link color will be black)
    HTML:
                    <xen:if is="{$user.showcase_count}">
                        <dl class="pairsJustified">
                            <dt></dt>
                            <dd><a href="{xen:link 'showcase/member', $user}" class="concealed">View My Showcase</a></dd>
                        </dl>
                    </xen:if>
    Selection_236.png

    OR Without the concealed class and to the right (link color will be light gray)
    HTML:
                    <xen:if is="{$user.showcase_count}">
                        <dl class="pairsJustified">
                            <dt></dt>
                            <dd><a href="{xen:link 'showcase/member', $user}">View My Showcase</a></dd>
                        </dl>
                    </xen:if>
    Selection_239.png

    OR with the concealed class and to the left (link color will be standard link color for your style)
    HTML:
                    <xen:if is="{$user.showcase_count}">
                        <dl class="pairsJustified">
                            <dt><a href="{xen:link 'showcase/member', $user}" class="concealed">View My Showcase</a></dt>
                            <dd></dd>
                        </dl>
                    </xen:if>
    Selection_237.png

    OR without the "concealed" class and to the left (link color will be standard link color for your style)
    HTML:
                    <xen:if is="{$user.showcase_count}">
                        <dl class="pairsJustified">
                            <dt><a href="{xen:link 'showcase/member', $user}">View My Showcase</a></dt>
                            <dd></dd>
                        </dl>
                    </xen:if>

    Its a Core XF standard class that is a standard part of everything on the postbit. LINKS will be a different color when the concealed class is used. As you can see by the IMAGES that I've posted for EACH example above. The ones using the concealed class are light gray (when on the left) and black on the right. When removing that class, it uses the standard LINK class color (in this case, light blue)
